Scheduled Maintenance & Oil Changes in Idaho Springs

Maintenance packages can hide items that are not actually due yet. We work from your owner manual and list each item, so you pay for the service your mileage calls for.

How the quote is built

Shop menus often add flushes and treatments on a fixed schedule. The owner manual is the real guide, and it is what we follow. If your driving counts as severe service, which steep grades and towing usually do, we explain which intervals that shortens.

Each item on the invoice is named with the mileage it was due at, so a quote from us can be laid next to a dealer menu and compared line for line.

What moves the price

An oil and filter service is the base. Larger milestones add filters, fluids and spark plugs, and engines that need synthetic oil or carry more of it cost more. Nothing is added unless the manual calls for it or an inspection shows it is needed.

Checking a quote you already have

When comparing a maintenance quote, match each item to the owner manual at your mileage. Dealer menus sometimes bundle fuel system cleaners, extra flushes or inspections that the manufacturer does not list. Those are not always wrong, but they should be named separately so you can decide. A quote that only says a mileage service with a single price is hard to judge. Ask for the list, then compare it item by item.

When you call

Have the mileage and any past service records to hand. If the dash shows a service code, read it to us.

Questions we hear

Will using an independent shop void my warranty?

No. Maintenance done to the manufacturer schedule with parts that meet its specifications keeps the warranty valid. Keep your invoices.

Do I need every flush on the menu?

Only the ones your manual calls for at your mileage, or that a test shows are needed.

How often should I change the oil?

Follow the manual, using the severe-service interval if you climb, tow or make many short trips.

Do you reset the service reminder?

Yes. The reminder is reset once the service is done, and the next due date or mileage is noted on your invoice so you know when to book again.
